Committees

The University of Zurich has around 20 permanent committees. Responsibility for administering the elections for these committees, and for the foundations and funds in which University of Zurich members are involved, lies with the General Secretariat.

The committees are reviewed periodically with regard to the scheduling of new or re-elections or mutations. In collaboration with the chairpersons and members, the lists of candidates are drawn up and sent to the faculties and the bodies represented in the Extended Executive Board of the University to complete. Depending on the status of the committee, members are then confirmed by the Executive Board of the University or the Extended Executive Board of the University.

We thank all members who, by serving on a committee, contribute to the self-administration of the University and ultimately to its development and quality.
