Executive Board of the University

The General Secretariat manages all aspects of the business carried out by the Executive Board of the University. The President of the University of Zurich is Chairperson of the Executive Board of the University. Under the leadership of the Secretary General, the General Secretariat is responsible for the administration of the meetings held by Executive Board of the University. The General Secretariat supports the Executive Board in areas such as scheduling, collecting the motions submitted to the Board, compiling the agenda, emailing meeting documents, taking minutes and communicating decisions, processing documents for the attention of other committees and archiving documents.

The Secretary General attends the weekly meetings of the Executive Board of the University in a consulting role and coordinates various projects on strategy and organization development under the direction of the Executive Board of the University.
